Every once in a while you get those clients who trust you implicitly. They recognize that they've never planned a wedding, while you have planned many, and they really let you guide them while injecting their own personality into the day. These. Folks. Rock. Kerry and Chris were these clients. They were a dream to work with, so incredibly kind, and had great ideas on how to make the day "theirs."
It was very important to K&C that their day be clean, classic, and sleek. With a color palette of white, navy blue and abundant greenery, they were able to achieve this perfect look. The 101 venue, set in historic Pioneer Square in Seattle, was transformed with crawling greenery by Petal + Vine. This greenery, paired with a white brick wall and all white chairs, made for a dreamy ceremony set up that allowed for the couple to shine.
The crawling greenery was also brought in on the wooden columns throughout the reception space, warming the venue up a bit, while tying into the modern centerpieces composed of mixed greenery and all white florals. The floor plan included a mix of rectangular tables and rounds, creating a unique and inclusive feeling to the set up.
Fantastic food and great music was a must for K&C. T0 accomplish this we brought in City Catering Company who were able to create a vegetarian friendly menu and a his and hers cookie bar in lieu of a traditional wedding cake. For the music piece we brought in three separate groups. There was a cellist for the ceremony, a band for cocktail hour and dinner, and a DJ for the dance party.
